How do I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel my plan?

To make changes to your plan or account, including upgrades, billing, downgrades, and cancellations, go to Docusign Support. Find out how to downgrade or close your account.

Does everyone signing an agreement need to have a Docusign account?

No, recipients of your agreements do not need an account to sign with Docusign. Your agreement will be sent by email from dse@docusign.net. Recipients can review the document, adopt a signature, and complete the signing process without having a Docusign account.

How does Docusign protect my data?

What are ‘Envelopes’ and how do they relate to my service subscription plan?

An ‘Envelope’ is an electronic record containing one or more documents uploaded to the Docusign eSignature service for signature processing, and the unit by which usage allowances with Docusign eSignature plans are measured. An Envelope can have one or many signers. Envelopes have statuses (e.g., sent, delivered, completed, voided) and also contain information about the sender and timestamps that indicate the progress of the delivery procedure. Regardless of how many documents, fields and signers a given envelope contains, it still counts only once towards your eSignature plan’s Envelope allowance once it is sent out for signature.

Why is Docusign recommending this plan?

Several of our integrations have features that may only work with our Business Pro and Enhanced plans. We recommend Business Pro to our customers, as it supports the most functionality.

Will my subscription renew automatically?

Yes, your subscription will automatically renew each month for monthly plans, and each year for annual plans.

Does Docusign offer a money-back guarantee?

Yes, for annual subscription plans purchased on Docusign.com (Personal, Standard, Business Pro, IAM Starter, IAM Standard, IAM Professional, Real Estate Starter, Real Estate, and REALTORS®) we offer a refund within 30 days of purchase. For monthly subscription plans, you can cancel your account at any time and you will not be charged for the next month.§

  • The 30-day refund option may only be used once per customer. When you sign up for a Docusign eSignature subscription plan, you must agree to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Notice for use of the Docusign service.   • The Docusign Payments feature is only available to customers who purchase Business Pro or Enhanced plans and for the currencies and countries supported by the payment gateways shown in the Docusign Payment Field FAQ.
